Introduction

Power is called "clean" when it's produced not by burning air polluting fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal-but by tapping into clean sources such as solar, wind, waves, fuel cells and other renewable technologies. These technologies produce little or no pollution, and they generate power from energy sources that are in plentiful supply and virtually never run out. That's why clean power is the power of the future.

At the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, we're working to foster the development of clean energy markets and technologies and make it easy and affordable for Connecticut citizens, businesses and other organizations to buy clean power. Why? Because clean power benefits everyone!
