The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund fosters in Connecticut the production and use of energy from clean and renewable sources by investing in enterprises and initiatives aimed at developing a vibrant market for clean power, educating consumers about clean power’s benefits and availability, and building a base of renewable energy technologies and installations. To further these goals, we need an experienced, talented individual to develop the overall strategic vision of the Fund by focusing on technology based research, development, engineering and commercialization issues.


Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your main duties will include:


·         Representing the Fund to the public and other entities such as Federal and State energy departments, academic and scientific institutions, corporations, and international entities on technology and related strategic issues

·         Recommending the best use of the Fund’s resources in advancing the renewable energy technology goals of the Fund

·         Screening new proposals for technical suitability

·         Performing due diligence on proposing companies’ technical capabilities

·         Evaluating innovative methods of using the Fund’s resources by working with early stage and start up companies or technologies

·         Preparing and presenting proposals and initiatives to the Advisory Board and Senior management of the Fund

·         Leading and assisting other members of the fund on technology related issues

To succeed in this position you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to analyze complex technical issues, meet business goals and objectives, and possess interpersonal and communications skills.

Core requirements:

·         A Master’s degree in science, engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines. A Ph.D is a strong plus.

·         A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (post Bachelor degree) in research, development, manufacturing, and deployment of renewable energy technologies

·         The ability to convey various scientific and energy related technological principles and applications to non-technical employees and public

·         Seasoned experience in program/project management

·         The ability to work in a team environment as a lead or principal contributor

The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, located in Rocky Hill, fosters in Connecticut. the production and use of energy from clean and renewable sources. This position is responsible for general office management and supervision. Specific duties include: planning & organizing workflow, priorities and procedures, preparing reports, and  managing and coordinating office staff and support services. Minimum 7 yrs. experience in administration and office management is required. Previous. experience in a professional / financial organization is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. MS Office, excellent oral/written communications, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and strong organizational skills are critical. Marketing Coordinator
Connecticut Clean Energy Fund


Aimed at raising awareness of the Clean Energy Fund and its mission to foster the use of energy from clean/renewable sources, this position is responsible for assisting with a broad range of duties, including events management, collateral material design, marketing communications, public relations, and market research.  

A minimum of  5 yrs experience in marketing, preferably in a service/technicalsa environment is a must, as is a B.A. in Marketing or related field. Additionally, effective communications skills (particularly written) are critical, as is knowledge of graphics and publishing software, tactical marketing, and visual communications. Personal characteristics are critical to the job including the ability to multi-task, interact well with all types of people/entities, and to take the initiative to execute from concept to product. Advanced computer skills in presentation, publishing, and graphics software a must.
