Renewable Energy Technologies: Producing the Power of Tomorrow, Today

Click the icons above to learn more about Renewable Technologies

Renewable energy technologies produce electricity in ways that don't pollute the environment, and they use resources that never run out.

Renewable energy technologies represent alternatives to fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas, which pollute the atmosphere, and to nuclear power, which creates radioactive waste that's difficult to dispose of.

Renewable energy technologies include solar, wind, wave/ocean, biomass conversion, landfill gas, hydropower and fuel cells.

The power produced by renewable energy technologies is called "clean" power, because it doesn't produce the harmful emissions generated by burning fossil fuels.
