Quotes:
"With the rising costs and the environmental impacts of fossil fuels, Plainville has made a choice to utilize the SmartPower clean energy program. Our community deserves alternatives and chooses to change the status quo course and work towards becoming a part of the solution."
Kirby Deegan
Plainville Town Councilman
"I'm very pleased the Town of Plainville has committed to the 20% by 2010 program. This commitment is a step in the right direction in making the public aware of how energy usage impacts our global neighborhood and what we can do, as citizens, to lessen the burdens and strains we impart on our environment. Together we can rely on and invest in earth's natural clean renewable energy and become less reliant on continuous, irresponsible pillaging for oil."
