THE CONNECTICUT CLEAN ENERGY FUND ANNOUNCES FUNDING OF $4 MILLION FOR A NEW OPERATIONAL DEMONSTRATIO

May 20, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced funding for a new program opportunity that will support the demonstration of innovative technologies or technology applications in the clean energy sector. The Operational Demonstration Program will provide funding opportunities of up to $750,000 per project for companies with near-commercial clean energy technologies that are seeking to establish product viability and a track record of performance for their technology in a relevant operational environment. Total available funding under this program opportunity is $4 million.

CONNECTICUT CLEAN ENERGY FUND HAS EXTENDED THE PERIOD FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

ROCKY HILL, Conn., April 19, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has extended the date for submissions of applications under a Request for Proposals (RFP) for its "Project 100" Program. Anyone interested in participating in the first round of "Project 100" will now have until August 1, 2005 to submit an application. This extension will also allow previous applicants to re-submit their applications as well. The revised Program Opportunity document can be found on CCEF's web site or by calling the Fund for a copy.

The Connecticut Green Building Council Launches High Performance Green School Initiative

March 2, 2005 - On Monday, the CT Green Building Council (CTGBC), with support from the Henry P. Kendall Foundation and the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), announced the launch of a High Performance Green School Initiative. Connecticut's Clean Energy Communities Makes its Debut

HARTFORD, Conn., November 16, 2004 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) announced a new program today - Connecticut's Clean Energy Communities. This program will offer a free solar energy system to municipalities that commit to purchase clean energy representing 20% of their electricity use by 2010. The program also requires their residents and businesses to sign up directly for the clean energy choice option available early next year through Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating. The program was created to support statewide efforts to increase the use of clean energy and demonstrate that clean energy systems are viable throughout the state.
