Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, Under Project 100, Selects Three Renewable Energy Projects

ROCKY HILL, Conn., December 15, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), a ratepayer fund administered by Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CI), a quasi-public state authority, has screened, selected and forwarded three renewable energy projects to the state's two major electric utilities, the Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) and the United Illuminating Company (UI). These two companies will review the CCEF's recommendations and perform additional analysis leading to long-term Power Purchase Agreements with the projects' owners. This is the first of a series of steps in Project 100, an innovative program created by the Connecticut General Assembly to develop 100 MW of renewable energy generation for the benefit of all Connecticut consumers.

Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Seeks Installers for Solar Energy Systems

June 1, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) for firms to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Connecticut cities and towns. As part of its mission to promote clean energy use in the state, CCEF provides PV systems at no charge to Connecticut municipalities that qualify for its Clean Energy Communities Program. Installers chosen through the RFQ process will be invited to submit proposals for each installation.

May 20, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced funding for a new program opportunity that will support the demonstration of innovative technologies or technology applications in the clean energy sector. The Operational Demonstration Program will provide funding opportunities of up to $750,000 per project for companies with near-commercial clean energy technologies that are seeking to establish product viability and a track record of performance for their technology in a relevant operational environment. CONNECTICUT CLEAN ENERGY FUND HAS EXTENDED THE PERIOD FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

ROCKY HILL, Conn., April 19, 2005 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has extended the date for submissions of applications under a Request for Proposals (RFP) for its "Project 100" Program. Anyone interested in participating in the first round of "Project 100" will now have until August 1, 2005 to submit an application. This extension will also allow previous applicants to re-submit their applications as well. The revised Program Opportunity document can be found on CCEF's web site or by calling the Fund for a copy.
