Rules of the Rebate Program
Customers must use a CCEF
eligible installer
to qualify.
Equipment must be new and be listed on the California Energy Commission list of eligible equipment (
http://www.gosolarcalifornia.org/equipment/index.html
).
System must be sized to produce no more than 100% of homeowner's annual average electrical consumption.
Rebate approval must be secured before installation begins.
System owners must report data to CCEF at least two times per year for the first two years after installation.
Panels must come with a 20-year warranty. Inverters and installation must be warranted for at least five years.
Rebates must be passed on, in full, to customers as an upfront price reduction.
CCEF reserves the right to inspect the system.
Each Connecticut resident is eligible for a total of 10 kW solar PV system(s) installation under the Solar PV Rebate program.
Customers must collaborate with CCEF should they prepare any press release or plan any news conference related to the PV system.
