Rules of the Rebate Program

• Customers must use a CCEF eligible installer to qualify.
• Equipment must be new and be listed on the California Energy Commission list of eligible equipment (http://www.gosolarcalifornia.org/equipment/index.html).
• System must be sized to produce no more than 100% of homeowner's annual average electrical consumption.
• Rebate approval must be secured before installation begins.
• System owners must report data to CCEF at least two times per year for the first two years after installation.
• Panels must come with a 20-year warranty. Inverters and installation must be warranted for at least five years.
• Rebates must be passed on, in full, to customers as an upfront price reduction.
• CCEF reserves the right to inspect the system.
• Each Connecticut resident is eligible for a total of 10 kW solar PV system(s) installation under the Solar PV Rebate program.
• Customers must collaborate with CCEF should they prepare any press release or plan any news conference related to the PV system.
