The new, improved Clean Energy Communities program is offered jointly by the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund. The program is designed to encourage communities to increase their support for energy efficiency and clean, renewable energy. The Communities program provides qualified towns and cities with performance-based incentives that include clean energy systems and “Bright Idea Grants” that can be used for energy-saving projects.
