The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund offers a variety of programs and funding opportunities to business owners and institutions interested in benefiting from clean energy sources and to clean energy technology developers and real estate developers who want to offer clean energy sources. On-Site Renewable DG Program – The On-site Renewable Distributed Generation Program offers financial support to stimulate demand for behind-the-meter installations of renewable energy at commercial, industrial and institutional buildings statewide. The On-Site Renewable DG Program is currently not accepting Solar Photovoltaic (PV) applications.

Project 150 – After state legislators passed a law requiring electric distribution companies (EDCs) to sign long-term contracts with renewable energy suppliers, lawmakers designated CCEF as the organization responsible for issuing requests for proposals and screening the energy suppliers who apply for contracts. CCEF’s goal is to stimulate the development of new clean energy projects that will supply power to the EDCs.

Operational Demonstration Program – CCEF will help developers of clean energy technologies demonstrate promising technologies in an effort to encourage their commercialization. The goal is to create a growing renewable energy industry in the state.

Affordable Housing Initiative – This initiative offers affordable housing developers a cost-effective way to incorporate solar technology into their retrofit and new construction projects.

CTCleanEnergyOptions – If you're a customer of The Connecticut Light & Power Company or The United Illuminating Company, you have the opportunity to support clean energy made from approved renewable sources such as wind and small hydro through this program developed by the Department of Public Utility Control.
