Opportunities for Advanced Technology and Clean Energy Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
Last spring Connecticut Innovations and the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund hosted an Economic Stimulus Forum focused on opportunities for advanced technology and clean energy under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The forum provided information from federal agencies about how to maximize opportunities to apply for competitive grants for clean energy and advanced technology projects. Periodically we will provide relevant information via this page.

The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) is pleased to share the following competitive grant opportunities available for clean energy projects in Connecticut. Loan Guarantees for Innovative Technology Projects
Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program – General Innovation Fund Program
The CCEF, on behalf of its partners and a consortium of 14 towns, submitted a funding request to the U.S. Department of Energy in the amount of $4.2 million to support the “ Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge – A Community Energy Savings Project” (the “Project”). Building on the successful Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program, this Project seeks to engage 10% of households in participating communities to set specific, measurable stretch goals of 20% for energy savings and clean energy usage and to provide support to assist them in achieving those goals.
