Solar PV was a smart choice for Chrisholm Marina. When the marina’s electricity demands are at their peak – during the busy summer season – the solar PV system’s output will be greatest.

The Chrisholm Marina solar PV system consists of 62 solar panels installed on the rooftops of the marina’s boat shed and mechanic shed. Supplying approximately 37% of the energy needs of the marina, the solar panels are helping the marina be more energy independent.

According to the manager of the marina, Chrisholm has always worked toward creating a cleaner environment and is committed to energy efficiency. She notes that it is exciting to be able to follow the marina’s clean energy generation numbers online and know that Chrisholm is making a difference.
