Converting Floods of Sunshine into Electricity
The 52.20-kilowatt solar PV installation located at Flood Middle School in Stratford consists of 290 solar panels mounted on the rooftop of the school building. Installed in early 2009 by DBS Energy, the solar array is expected to supply approximately 4 percent of the school’s electricity needs.
