Stamford Is Fleet of Foot in Adopting Solar
The solar PV installation located at the city of Stamford’s Fleet Management Facility consists of 336 solar panels mounted on the rooftop of the city facility that houses Stamford’s fleet vehicles. Installed and owned by SunEdison, the solar array supplies more than 14 percent of the facility’s electricity needs. CCEF’s grant of $301,718 helped to defray nearly half of the total project cost.
