Enhancing the Bottom Line
Consisting of more than 1,100 solar panels, the 225.72-kilowatt solar photovoltaic system at Tri Town Precision Plastics is mounted on the roof of the company’s 150,000 square foot facility in Deep River. The solar panels are expected to supply approximately seven percent of the electricity required by the company, which provides custom injection molding, toolmaking and contract manufacturing services.
According to the company’s president, to succeed in today’s business climate, the company needed clean energy solutions to enhance its bottom line. He said that once he knew that solar was a financially viable option for Tri Town, he got excited about the environmental benefits of solar and wished the company could do even more. Tri Town had solar panels placed on every bit of suitable roof space at its facility.
Manufacturers and other businesses around the state with large electrical demands continue to turn to solar energy technology to help control their energy costs – and stay competitive in their industries. Solar offers them a great way to improve their bottom lines while also benefiting the environment.
