CCEF Launches Alpha Program |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., March 30, 2011 — The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced that it has launched its newest initiative, the Alpha Program, which funds development and testing of emerging clean energy technologies to establish their technical viability and commercial potential. Successful commercialization of such technologies will help create jobs and grow Connecticut’s clean energy industry, as well as reduce clean energy costs, enhance energy security and ensure a healthier environment. |

 Rocky Hill, Conn., March 28, 2011 — A dedication ceremony was held today in Hamden, Conn., to celebrate the installation of a 5-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Hamden Middle School. The town earned this system through the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund’s Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program. The 5-kW solar PV system, which is valued at approximately $45,000, was installed by Consulting Engineering Services Inc. |
