Greenwich Academy Goes Green and Teaches Value of Clean Energy |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., September 11, 2008– The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced that the Greenwich Academy solar photovoltaic (PV) array it helped to fund is installed and successfully operating. The 27.6-kilowatt array is located on the new roof of the middle school building of the school and is connected to an interactive data monitoring system that will capture performance data, which, in turn, will be used to teach the students about solar energy generation. |

Wilton Receives “Connecticut Clean Energy Community” Designation and Earns Solar Energy Array |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., September 8, 2008 – The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) announced today that the town of Wilton, Conn., has become the 34th municipality in the state to receive the designation of “Connecticut Clean Energy Community.” As a result of its commitment to clean energy, Wilton has earned a 3-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) array valued at approximately $30,000 from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. |

Avon Commits to Clean Energy |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., August 25, 2008 – The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced that the town of Avon, Conn., has joined the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program by committing to purchase at least 20% of its electricity for municipal facilities from clean, renewable energy sources by the year 2010. Avon officials signed a resolution declaring the town’s commitment, joining 82 other Connecticut municipalities that have made a commitment to a cleaner environment and greater energy independence. |

Governor Rell Announces New Program to Help Make Renewable Energy More Affordable |
 Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced a program to help low- and moderate-income residents cut their electricity expenses and build on the state’s commitment to renewable energy.
The Connecticut Solar Lease Program, the first of its kind in the nation, is a new initiative designed to eliminate the high initial costs associated with the purchase and installation of residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Through the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), a combination of rebates and tax credits can be used to lower the cost of leasing solar systems, helping more residents obtain clean, renewable solar energy.

Dove & Boar Farm in Hampton, Conn., Goes Green with Solar PV Installation |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., July 30, 2008 — The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced that the solar photovoltaic (PV) array at Dove & Boar Farm in Hampton, Conn., which was funded through its On-Site Renewable Distributed Generation Program, is now installed and operating successfully.
