Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Receives 60 Fuel Cell Proposals |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., February 17, 2003 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has received 60 proposals in response to its 2002 Fuel Cell Request for Proposal (RFP). A total of 41 companies and 13 fuel cell manufacturers are represented within the prospective proposals. CCEF issued the 2002 RFP, following the success of the 2001 Fuel Cell RFP, which resulted in 31 proposals from 19 companies. The thrust of the CCEF fuel cell initiative is to promote clean, reliable distributed generation in Connecticut while also advancing the commercialization and acceptance of fuel cells. |

Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Receives 19 Pre-applications for its First Solar PV Program |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., February 11, 2003 - The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) announces that it has received 19 pre-applications, representing 24 separate projects, in response to its Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Program, created to stimulate the PV market and demonstrate the use of PV systems as a viable, distributed power-generation resource in Connecticut. Interested parties were requested to submit a pre-application by December 13, 2002, to qualify for participation in the Request for Proposal (RFP), issued on January 17, 2003. Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Releases 2002 Fuel Cell Request for Proposal |
 Rocky Hill, Conn., January 7, 2003 - Following the success of the 2001 Fuel Cell Request for Proposal (RFP), the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has recently issued the 2002 Fuel Cell RFP to promote clean, reliable distributed generation in Connecticut and the commercialization of fuel cells. The funding level for the 2002 Fuel Cell RFP could reach almost $9 million. In addition to the $8 million expected from CCEF, the Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P), administrator of the Energy Conservation and Load Management Fund (EC&LMF), has agreed to consider proposals for a joint project that integrates fuel cell application with energy conservation and load management measures. For this joint project, EC&LMF will make available approximately $800,000. |
