Town Description

With 20 miles of coastline on Long Island Sound and more than 4,000 acres of protected open and/or undeveloped space, Branford is home to a great variety of scenery and habitats. There are endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, from hiking and cycling to kayaking the scenic Branford River. It is a vital community with a strong economic base, low taxes, and excellent schools and municipal services.
