Gov. Malloy Announces Policy Proposal in Support of Solar on Homes
Governor Malloy is announcing a policy to expand investment in residential solar PV in Connecticut.  As we have worked together with you on this through the fall and into the winter, the policy will expand the Residential Solar Investment Program target to no less than 300 MW by 2022 through the creation of Solar Home Renewable Energy Credits (SHRECs) to support the Class I Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) policy implementation.

Sherman Commits to Clean Energy

ROCKY HILL, Conn., May 27, 2008 – The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) today announced that the Town of Sherman has joined the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program. Town officials have signed an official resolution declaring the town’s commitment to the goal of having at least 20% of its electricity for municipal facilities come from clean, renewable energy sources by the year 2010. Sherman joins 74 other Connecticut municipalities that have made a commitment to a cleaner environment and greater energy independence.

Community Leaders in Clean Energy Receive Awards
